Not going to lie, today’s training run was tough. My legs were heavy and I had a headache. I hate running with a headache but I wanted to train so I pushed through it. I was able to complete the first mile with no problems but I gave up after I ran up the hill. I had to use one of my ‘power boosters’ to rest for a bit. I finally found the courage to run to the end of the fitness path and start the journey back on the last mile and half to the finish. I ended up with a time of 35:10. This is the third time in the last few runs that I have completed 3.1 in this time and I am trying hard to move past it. My 5K goal is to be under 30 minutes.
